What 195,000 points bought in 1989: two certificates each good for six days and five nights at any Marriott hotel or resort — or two certificates each good for seven days and six nights at a selected resort — plus two free round-trip coach tickets anywhere in the system, plus seven free rental days from Hertz on a full-size car, plus 50% off a three-, four-, seven-, eight- or ten-day cruise with the purchase of one passage, plus three certificates each good for a dinner entrée with the purchase of another.
