How to read this
A rename keeps the same members and usually the same points, so we treat it as one continuous program. Marriott Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy are the same lineage.
A merger folds one program into another. Those wins are credited to the surviving family and flagged in the timeline — Northwest WorldPerks under Delta SkyMiles, Starwood Preferred Guest under Marriott Bonvoy.
Co-branded credit card wins sit with the airline or hotel family that carried them. Special recognition honors are excluded; those live on the special recognition page.
Results for 1988–1994 were never published online, so early-era totals are understated. Know of a rename we have missed? Send us the correction.
