Legal
Privacy policy.
This policy covers the Freddie Awards and associated content including feeds, emails, newsletters, surveys and member comments. It does not apply to sponsors or partners we do not own or control.

What information do we collect?
We only collect information from you when you fill out a form to receive our newsletter updates. This is a double opt-in procedure managed by our email provider, which means others cannot sign up people who did not give permission to be added to the list.
Outside of your voluntary action to receive newsletter updates, you remain entirely anonymous to us.
What do we use your information for?
The email address you provide may be used to send you updates about the results of the Freddie Awards, the start and finish of voting periods, conversations about the balloting, sponsor prize winners, a very limited marketing message from a sponsor or partner, and any legal or regulatory disclosures.
Your email privacy is our top priority, and we will never sell that information to anyone. Every email includes instructions to unsubscribe.
There may be times we ask you to provide preference or demographic data in a survey. As in every other instance, we use that information in a non-personally-identifiable manner.
How do we protect your information?
We implement physical, electronic and administrative security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you voluntarily join our mailing list, and we work with a recognized leading email company to manage it.
Do we disclose information to advertisers or outside parties?
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to advertisers, sponsors, partners or outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who help us operate the site, such as our email list manager, so long as they agree to keep the information confidential. We may release information when appropriate to comply with the law or to protect rights, property or safety. Our email list is not shared, even with sponsors or partners.
Cookies
The Freddie Awards uses standard technologies called cookies and log files to understand how the site is used. Cookies are small text files that help track navigation around the site; they are not identifiable other than by the website server and store no personal information.
Information is collected on an aggregate basis without association to your personal information, so you remain anonymous as part of an overall analytics review. If you do not wish to transmit cookie information, you may turn the cookie function off in your browser.
You are free to delete cookies at any time and may refuse them entirely. The choice is always yours, and we in no way discourage you from taking your privacy into your own hands — in fact, we encourage it.
Third party links
We may link to third party products or services, such as those of our sponsors and partners. Those websites have separate and independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content and activities. We nonetheless welcome feedback about them.
Your consent
By using the Freddie Awards site, you consent to this Privacy Policy.
