Caesars crosses the Rubicon

Program of the Year — Hotels, Americas · Caesars Rewards

In 2022, Caesars Rewards almost won this category.

Almost.

Marriott Bonvoy beat it 8.67 to 8.64.

Three hundredths.

That was close enough to make a point.

In 2025 Caesars finished the sentence.

Caesars Rewards is the Hotel Program of the Year in the Americas.

This is one of the more important shifts in recent Freddie history.

For years, the American hotel loyalty conversation meant Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and their predecessors.

Casino programs existed in another universe.

Then casino resorts became enormous hotel businesses.

Their loyalty programs became enormous travel programs.

And Freddie voters stopped caring about the old category boundaries.

Caesars Rewards grew from Total Rewards and a casino loyalty heritage where recognizing valuable customers was never exactly a foreign concept.

Casino operators may have understood tiered loyalty before half the hotel industry did.

Now Caesars wasn’t merely competing.

It was winning Program of the Year.

Three-hundredths eventually became first place.

Patience pays.

Sometimes in Reward Credits.

Sometimes in Freddies.
