LifeMiles wins the 2025 Up and Coming Program Award.

Before anyone points out that LifeMiles has been around for years:

We know.

The category isn’t really about age.

It’s about discovery.

Programs qualify by receiving exceptionally strong ratings among members without necessarily having the enormous voting penetration enjoyed by the biggest programs.

LifeMiles has long occupied exactly that interesting corner of the frequent flyer world.

Serious points people know it.

Star Alliance award hunters know it.

People who have purchased miles during one of LifeMiles’ frequent sales definitely know it.

The wider traveling public?

Perhaps less so.

That makes LifeMiles almost the perfect perennial “program you should probably know better.”

The program had already enjoyed plenty of Freddie success, particularly with promotions.

In 2025, voters put it back on the radar.

Although at this stage LifeMiles is less “up-and-coming” than:

“Still here. Still interesting. Pay attention.”
