Best Overall Award for a hotel program goes to Marriott Honored Guest Awards.

Marriott changed how its award schedule would work going forward — the kind of move that usually costs a program votes. Travelers inside and outside the program still called it the best award schedule available.

The reason is expansion, not devaluation. Off-peak specials arrived, and so did award partners like Aston Suites in Hawaii and Edwardian in London, aimed at exactly the destinations members were asking for.
