Norwegian won the same Freddie in 2023.

Then there were no 2024 awards.

When voting resumed in 2025, Norwegian was still standing on top.

This is precisely what makes the Freddie Awards fun.

Norwegian isn’t one of Europe’s giant network carriers.

No enormous global alliance network.

No fleet stretching into every corner of the planet.

Freddie voters didn’t care.

Norwegian Reward built its proposition around being understandable and useful to the people who actually fly Norwegian.

That’s enough.

The airline itself had been through an enormous restructuring after its ambitious long-haul era.

It emerged smaller and more focused.

Its loyalty program emerged stronger.

Sometimes bigger isn’t better.

Sometimes better is better.

Freddie voters can be annoyingly literal that way.
