The 2026 scorecard
The 2026 Freddies weren’t simply a list of winners.
They told us where loyalty is going.
Aeroplan is no longer a comeback story. The rebuild has matured into sustained excellence: Program of the Year, Redemption Ability and Promotion.
Caesars completed casino loyalty’s move into the hotel mainstream. Five major hotel awards in the Americas isn’t a curiosity. It’s domination.
Air India’s transformation has reached loyalty. Maharaja Club moved from Up and Coming in 2025 to Program of the Year in 2026.
GarudaMiles had one of the night’s great performances. Elite, Redemption, Customer Service and Promotion—with the Garuda UOB card adding another trophy to the ecosystem.
GHA Discovery fulfilled the promise of the Freddie radar. A program once identified through the 210/Up and Coming mechanism is now Program of the Year in Middle East & Asia Pacific.
Flying Blue owned European airline loyalty. Four of the five major airline categories.
And then there was Accor.
ALL won ALL.
Program of the Year.
Best Elite Program.
Best Redemption Ability.
Best Customer Service.
Best Promotion.
Five categories.
Five Freddies.
Thirty-eight years after the first Freddie Awards, the names on the trophies continue to change.
That’s exactly the point.
Loyalty isn’t what the programs tell us it is.
It’s what the members tell us it is.
And in 2026, they told us quite a lot.
