Best Customer Service — Airlines, Americas · American Airlines AAdvantage
This is an interesting one.
American Airlines AAdvantage wins Best Customer Service in the Americas for 2025.
Not elite.
Customer service.
For years, AAdvantage’s Freddie identity was closely associated with Best Elite Program.
In 2025, the voters rewarded something different.
Customer service is possibly the most personal Freddie category.
You can publish an award chart.
You can calculate an earning ratio.
You can list benefits.
Service happens one traveler at a time.
Usually when the traveler doesn’t particularly want to be talking to the airline in the first place.
Something didn’t ticket.
Miles didn’t post.
The upgrade vanished.
A partner award became complicated.
An itinerary decided that Istanbul was a perfectly reasonable connection between Dallas and Chicago.
That’s when the loyalty program becomes human.
American’s members liked enough of those human moments to put AAdvantage first.
And because American also won Best Redemption Ability, 2025 became a very different sort of Freddie year for AAdvantage.
The dynasty changed categories.
The winning didn’t.
American confirmed three 2025 Freddie wins when the Citi/AAdvantage credit-card trophy is included.
